De topografische kaart was het meest praktisch, de zeekaarten gaven wat aanvullende informatie over boeien en waar veel scheepvaart te verwachten was. De boekjes van Orust kajak centrum gaven nog aanvullende info over interessante plaatsen om te bezoeken, o.a. een prachtig bootmuseum op Brassholmen bij Ljusekil. We hadden dagelijks een gedetailleerd weerbericht op de marifoon, in het Zweeds. Ideaal als je Zweeds verstaat...

Ook is het 'water'gedeelte veel beter te lezen dan op de topografische kaart. Ze zijn wel behoorlijk aan de prijs (130 euro voor het traject Goteborg - Noorwegen).
Waarschijnlijk neemt de een de topografische kaart op het dek, en de ander de zeekaart.

Ik heb van het hele traject de 'groene kaarten' gekocht van de Zweedse Topografische Dienst. Ik zag dat er ook waterkaarten zijn. Heeft iemand hier ervaring mee, zijn deze een nuttige toevoeging op de 'groene kaarten' ?
Zijn er nog andere informatiebronnen (evt. in het Zweeds), zoals pilots, kajakgidsjes, tochtverslagen, o.i.d ?
