Al een aantal jaren organiseert Europagaai, een kajakbedrijf uit Schoorl wekelijks brandingvaren op maandagavonden in de zomer.

Met eigen materiaal is het gratis, omkleden en kleding bewaren kan binnen en na afloop is een kopje koffie of thee te krijgen tegen geringe vergoeding. Kajaks en ander materiaal huren kan ook.

Elke maandagavond in de zomer, als er golven zijn en voldoende belangstelling is. Standafgang Hargen aan Zee (NH), honderd meter rechts af naar de gele keet. Vanaf 19.00 is het gratis parkeren, parkeerruimte is er zat en het pad naar zee is verhard en niet echt klimmen.
